VFW National Home for Children

The VFW National Home for Children helps people from across the country in a variety of ways.
we connect families with supportive services in their own community. Other times, intensive case management assistance resolves pressing issues. Our knowledge of veterans’ services and our connections to VFW Posts, Districts and Departments are an additional source of assistance we can access, that goes beyond traditional social services.

Assistance and connection to supportive services in your community are available by contacting the National Home Helpline at (800) 851-0238 or

by emailing help@vfwnationalhome.org.

As of July 1, 2011--HB 1109, which passed through the both the House and Senate unanimously, will allow retired personnel to use their military identification card to vote.
